ECUMENISM…THE WORLD CHURCH

The pope had a secret meeting with Kim Davis while he was in Washington.  Kim Davis was flown to Washington for a private meeting with the pope.  She's the woman that refused to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples in that county in Kentucky.  She was put in jail for a while. The pope flew her in and applauded her for her courage.  The media (liberals) has found out about this, and they're not happy.  One minute they like the pope because he espouses their agenda, then they don’t like him because he supports Kim Davis’ views on homosexuality. That’s democrats for you. They really don’t care about anything, especially moral issues, except for the agenda of power and control…but that’s another post.

Kim Davis describing her meeting with Pope Francis…
“It was really very humbling to even think that he would want to, you know, meet me or know me.  I put my hand out, and he reached, he grabbed it. And I hugged him, and he hugged me, and he said, "Thank you for your courage."  Before he left, he said, "Stay strong."  That was a great encouragement. Just knowing that the pope is on track, you know, with what we're doing and agreeing, you know, kind of validates everything.” ~Kim Davis, KY County Clerk

But why was the meeting secret?  And why is the Vatican refusing to confirm or deny that it happened? Why is the pope so afraid of people finding out that he's a defender of religious beliefs?  Why the secrecy?

Because he is ECUMENICAL meaning, he has no faithful allegiance to his particular faith or to the ABSOLUTE truth. Catholic means “universal… all-inclusive”! Remember, this is the religion that (un-spiritually) “Christianized pagan, heathen people by adopting their idolatrous, orgiastic festivals (Christmas, Easter, Halloween) just to bring them (numerically) into the “church.“ Draw your own conclusions.

Here is a meeting of “ecumenists”…the world’s church…or the church of the world…or the worldly church. We know what the pope is. Kim Davis is some kind of apostolic something or other (Oneness Pentecostalism…a new one for me). You would think that, as a protestant, she has heard her share of catholic criticism and even condemnation, as some like to do. But she entertained a meeting with the pope. Let me be clear….I would not, unless it were for a Bible study. I also would have resigned as soon as anyone tried to make me issue marriage licenses to homosexuals of any sex…which is what she should have done. Perhaps she hasn’t read the part in the Bible that says…
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. Romans 13:1-7.

She swore to uphold the laws of the state, if not the whole country. If one cannot fulfill the responsibilities and/or duties of one’s (elected) office, one should resign for conscience sake and because God’s law is infinitely higher than man’s.
But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men. Acts 5:29.

She could have done both…obey God and the rules of her office (to resign if one cannot carry out their duties), with grace and honor and glory to God. But I guess $80,000.00 per year is too much to walk away from.

Well, this morning I read an “update”….
“…his (the pope) meeting with her (Kim Davis) should not be considered a form of support of her position in all of its particular and complex aspects,” Lombardi said. ~Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi

Oh the hypocrisy!
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Matt. 23:27
