LUKEWARM AND LOVING IT

….a government OF the people, BY the people, and FOR the people. That was the beginning of the Laodicean “church” in the USA, and although the quote belongs to Abraham Lincoln, it was nonetheless instituted by “founding fathers” who put the will of the people above the Will of God.

We elect leaders by the people’s choice. But when a culture does not know it’s right from the left they will most likely choose wrong. The dominating church in the last days (read now, TODAY) is Laodicean, which means “peoples opinions”, or “people‘s justice”. Of course, by definition then, that leaves God out. What happens when the church does not know what is true or right and insists on "its own interpretation" to take place? Well, you get what we got today! What disappoints me (besides myself) is that those who might, or in fact, KNOW the difference are having virtually no impact, that I can discern. The END will not be delayed.


In the latter days we are told evil will be prevalent, it will surround us. God’s people should know this better than anyone else. Those taught by God know the difference between good and evil. But there are some who do not know of the evil they are seeing, or doing. There are men in charge who are dangerous, in the world some think they are intellectually superior, this same attitude is found in the church, except they are called the “anointed” ones.
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is destruction; their throat is an open tomb; they flatter with their tongue. Ps 5:9 

Ps 12:1 begins with…. Help, LORD, for the godly man ceases! For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men. verse 2 calls them flatterers, double hearted.

A face-slapping example of self-deception today has been illustrated publicly when we see so many upset over a lion being killed for sport than numerous babies who will never see the light of day. After this lion incident, another lion in the same preserve mauled a keeper. Here’s the outcry…. “______.”
Apparently a man killing a lion (wrong as it was) gains more attention than a lion killing a man. So when we hear of humans being ripped from their mother’s womb and sold for parts; some still alive, this action does not even grieve others who were once a baby in their mother’s womb. We instead focus on saving the whales, the eagles, the lions, dogs and cats; but humans …. Not so much. That is the world flattering themselves thinking they are doing good and what is right. We are told “a fetus” is not a human until it’s out of the mother’s body, but they are willing to take the parts of this so called non-human to be used for humans; after all its just tissue.

Susan B. Anthony List calculates : In 2012, abortions made up 93.8% [327,166] of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy services, while prenatal care and adoption referrals accounted for only 5.6% (19,506) and 0.6% (2,197), respectively. For every adoption referral, Planned Parenthood performed 149 abortions. That’s their planning for the family in real time action. (emphasis in original)

God knows who is truthful in the inward parts and who is faking it. In the last days God pours out his wrath toward a world that has rejected him… He knows who they are. There are several ways to flatter people, Ezekiel 12:24 speaks of false visions and flattering divination occurring.
Rom. 16:18b… by smooth words and flattering speech (they) deceive the hearts of the simple.
Jude 1:16b… they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.
One of the ways to flatter is make one covet.
2 Peter 2:3a… By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words.

This is the temperature (lukewarm? Rev. 3:16) of the overall church today, deceived into coveting, desiring what they do not have by the false teachers Peter speaks of. Paul writes of how the apostles conducted themselves.
1 Thess. 2:5 For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness—God is witness.

God will have His say on these matters no matter what man does, whether its violence against innocents or one’s wrong decisions on Israel and the issues we face. As the world gets funneled toward the prophecies being accomplished we had better make sure we are on the right side, doing the will and way of God.

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
