He Healed Them All

Great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all. Matt. 12:15

Great multitudes means exactly what it says... many, many people; a very, very large crowd. Some of us will conjure up various numbers and size of “crowd” but the point is well taken. Jesus is surrounded by more than a handful of people, as some of the more liberal, progressive transliterations imply. So, having established a number, consider and contemplate that “He healed them ALL!”

ALL in the Greek means: “each and every one.”
Why did Jesus do this... and every other miracle including calming the storm, and walking on water? Well, why do you think? TO PROVE WHO HE WAS !!!
And Who was He? He was God! And God is Love! So the question is really...”Why wouldn’t He?”
God the Son, Jehovah (2nd Person of the Trinity)  as the Son of God (Jesus)  presented Himself as Israel’s Messiah... THEIR  King, to establish the Kingdom (Davidic Covenant). But what did the Jews  (and the world) do? “We will not have this man to rule over us. Crucify Him!” John 19:15.

Can we expect miracles today? Well, consider this... Jesus is SEATED! ...The LORD (Jehovah)  said to my Lord  (Adon), "Sit at My right hand, until  I make Your enemies Your footstool.” Psalm 110:1

UNTIL is a “time” word. Jesus is waiting UNTIL  God says it is time to come back. In the meantime, He intercedes and advocates for BELIEVERS... Jew or Gentile. And what is our faith that we believe? That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,  and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 1 Cor. 15:3-4.

The Jews, as a nation, to this day do not believe this Gospel. That is not the Gospel Jesus preached to them during His earthly ministry. He preached the Gospel of the Kingdom (Davidic)  Matt. 4:23, And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
He was their prophesied Messiah, but they crucified Him instead. And so then, after His resurrection, with Israel still denying and refusing their Messiah, Jesus diverts from the Jews and sends Paul to the Gentiles with the Gospel of Grace. So... what’s the difference?

First and foremost is that Jesus had to fulfill Old Testament prophecy to Israel concerning the promised Messiah. Even though the crucifixion was foretold, Jesus could have still and would have been Israel’s Messiah King after His resurrection, IF  they would receive Him. But they did not. God temporarily turns His back on Israel, destroys the Temple, and scatters the Jews into every other nation, and devastates the land. The Jews have only returned to Israel since 1948. Another prophecy fulfilled.

Even so, come quickly, Lord. Rev. 22:20
