MERRY CHRISTMAS - Part 3

Christmas is a problem for the Christian. Why, we ask? Because Christmas is a lie and Christians believe it. And what is more egregious, some Christians (if not MOST) do not want to know the truth. A blogger writes… "Christmas is to be a celebration of Jesus Christ". PLEASE, prove it to all of us WITH Scripture. Or is it too much responsibility to prove "your version" of the truth? Or is it just too impossible?? One cannot "christianize" hedonism and debauchery.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. Isaiah 9:6-7.

No one (in Christendom) denies the Isaiah passage. No one is saying we should forget that Jesus was born. But if one cannot separate Christ from the worldly, carnal, dishonoring tradition that is Christmas (and apparently some cannot), then one is entrapped in an inescapable snare.

Moreover… Jesus is NOT the reason for this season.

We can no more Christianize this paganism
with our attitudes or "good intentions" than the early popes could with their "benedictions". This season was orgiastically celebrated BEFORE Jesus was born. Are you kidding me… look up the word "orgy" in the "Encarta" World Dictionary and you amazingly find "saturnalia" as the first word in the thesaurus for "orgy". And Saturnalia was the precursor to Christmas.

Saturnalia was "Christianized" to appease the pagans.

By all means, celebrate Christ in all His Glory… but do it Biblically… Scripturally… as God the Father wants us to. Not the way the world does. Is that difficult to understand? You won't find anywhere in the Bible where it specifically says to celebrate the birth of Jesus as a "holiday", or a "holy" day, or any other "official" day of remembrance. And then also… especially NOT in December! I do not want to argue with anyone who wishes to continue believing a lie. I want to share what is so clearly the truth with those who desire to know the truth.
